The proposed Stingray Cove Touch Pool Experience and Exhibit at OKC Zoo is planned to be a 9,200 square foot stand-alone building with public space, an interior stingray pool, and support spaces. The 4,000 square foot public space will be enclosed and feature an exhibit pool with a surrounding viewing area.  Away from public view, support spaces will provide the staff space for stingray support equipment and stingray food storage space that is available for public purchase. Outside, the south entrance will feature a covered area for the public should long lines form.

 

The Stingray Touch Pool Experience and Exhibit at the Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden is part of a 10-year master plan (2024–2034) aimed at upgrading zoo attractions.
