HANGER 4
The Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautic’s commitment to growing the aerospace industry in Oklahoma is evident. To encourage investment at Will Rogers World Airport, the ODAA committed a $19 million grant to the Oklahoma City Airport Trust to incentivize private investment. As part of this initiative, AAR Corp expanded it’s Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) capacity with the Construction of Hangar 4.
This was the first project delivered under the Construction Manager at Risk delivery method for any city affiliated entity. To accomplish the task using a new delivery method by the “end certain” delivery date to the tenant, the Oklahoma City Airport Trust turned to Kirkpatrick Program Management for leadership. Completed in 2026, the 82,0000 SF repair facility provided room for more Alaska Airlines maintenance lines, adding more than 225 aviation jobs in Oklahoma City.
